The wait once you are in the exam room has ranged from 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes just waiting on the doctor. It would not be so bad if they did not have you undress and sit awkwardly on the exam table to wait.
Dr. Lindel and his staff are amazing. They are attentive, responsive and extremely intelligent. They are all considerate and caring. All of the staff I have worked with are wonderful.
I have never had any issue with Lyndhurst. I am a trans man, and I am in the process of medically transitioning, hormones alter your body and I have found in most medical environments I feel alienated and dehumanized but I have not felt that way at Lyndhurst. Dr. Hatch and her nurse, Jamie, are always accommodating and kind, and they place a great deal of importance on patients' bodily autonomy. I am also developmentally disabled, in particular I am autistic, this is oftentimes another source of medical mistreatment or miscommunication for me, but I have consistently felt listened to at Lyndhurst. They do not rush me, and they ask clarifying questions to avoid errors due to poor communication. Follow-ups are personalized and clear, sometimes I am called directly. This personal, connected way of communication is greatly appreciated.
Do like Ms. Zimmerman...easy to talk with and liked my appointment overall and really appreciated the help in getting my appointments made so they coul be together (was necessary to change one of them due to insurance reasons).
