Dr. Guidry and team—-I would like for all of you to know what a wonderful experience it was to be treated at your facility! You’re a fantastic team that go out of your way to comfort and care for your patients. I can’t thank you enough for the care and attention from each and every one of you. Dr. Guidry— thank you for your dedication and treatment plan to address my wound. A special thank you for your kindness, information, education, and willingness to always be flexible to address any issue that needed attention. Dorie—thank you for always having a smile on your face and your attention to detail. Your assistance was above and beyond, especially the effort of working with me during the hurricane. I will miss sitting in the patient care room and hearing Dorie. It is easy to see why you are so needed. Tanya—thanks for all of the detailed care and information. Teaching me how to care for a wound, change dressings, and making me comfortable with what to do. And always with a smile and just a great demeanor! Lani—thanks for the personal attention and details on wound care, dressings, and leg wraps. I’m sure I had a lot of questions but you always took time to answer them and make me comfortable. Erica—thank you for all the trouble you went through to help with appointments, finding home health, getting the wound vac, scheduling, rescheduling, etc.. and always with such a positive attitude and a friendly smile on your face! Such kindness! I hope I didn’t leave anyone out or mess up names too bad! The thing I will always remember is what a fantastic, happy, friendly, knowledgeable and professional team. I remember Dr. Guidry telling me on day one that she had the greatest staff and team , and then you proved it! Thank you all so much!
I was initially referred to Kindred. Lear Lake wound care clinic by Memorial Herman Urgent Care in Friendswood. I received ABSOLUTELY GREAT CARE! Great doctors and nurses and the facility and clinic were all very clean.
The care provided by the wound care clinic was OUTSTANDING! The team members provided magnificent support in a professional, timely fashion that deserves a large, WELL DONE!
I was recently a patient in the out patient wound care clinic. Dr. Memon and the nursing and administrative staff were so nice, professional, and an outstanding team! Dr. Memon explained everything he was doing and why. Dr. Memon and his staffs treatment significantly improved my wound and put me on the road to full recovery. Great service!
My brother sustained spine cord and brain injuries due to vehicular accident while transitting from Port of Galveston to IAH. He just finished his employment contract working as a seafarer on cargo ship. In just an hour he should have been flying out to Manila, Philippines on March 4. But the unfortunate event happened. He was first brought to HCA Houston Clear Lake and was at the ICU for 13 days then transferred to Kindred Hospital Clear Lake for further medical management. The accident brought so much emotional stress to us his family as we are far far away from him but we were comforted by seeing him on video calls thru Sarah Godfrey-Admin Officer-who unselfishly go to his hospital bed and do the video calls for 30 minutes. Finally we were able to fly from the Philippines to Texas where my brother was admitted in a mini ICU room on March 25. Kindred is not a nursing home but a hospital which offers general medical and post ICU care. It is the right place for my brother! Let me commend the very caring nurses, nurse assistants , therapists and all the staff who made our stay a wonderful healthcare experience. Ahmed Borbitin-she is truly a caring soul who is always there when you need her. The way she handles patient care is just amazing and exceptional. Nena-when my brother had regained his consciousness he just loved her for her zest and her humming. She cares for patients like they are family. Gracie-oh she is so charming! The comic acts made my brother smile a lot. Keep on cheering your patients! Jessica-speech pathologist- you are amazing! You brought out the best in him in his swallow tests though at times he is quite shy and would not follow your commands. Noli Miranda- respiratory- you are an amazing soul! Your encouraging words are just music to my brothers ears! He calls you BOSS. Thank you for the unselfish patient care! Bo-respiratory- THANK YOU! Deborah-respiratory-thanks for being there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on. Nurses, isis, cris, Maria, Jennifer, Jayne, Lauren, Carlito, jesusa, Lala, Ivonne, and Ms. Ana. We are forever grateful for the warmth and thoughtfulness. Jamie- our CM- thank you for guiding us through! Analize(PT), Safura (OT) Fernando- thank you! Dr. Mohammed, the consultants and specialists, THANK YOU! Kindred you made our difficult journey easier because you have the care and compassion to your patients and families! Thank you and God bless you all!
Everyone has been kind and helpful and genuine and dedicated to taking wonderful care of my daughter. The whole staff has been accommodating to me as well. I would love to name each individual person who has made an impression on me but I would have to name the entire staff! I could tell when we arrived here that we were in the right place because Amy went from being very anxious and scared to very calm and stoic. Every single day I have had with Amy has been a gift and thanks to the Kindred staff I now get (hopefully) many, many more!
My 91 year old mother was admitted to Kindred for wound care and therapy. She had spent a significant amount of time in bed and was very weak. We were afraid she may never walk on her own again. As soon as we got to Kindred, they evaluated her and came up with a therapy plan that took into account her physical health but also acknowledged her “drive” and “motivation” to get better. Shannon with PT was absolutely instrumental in getting mom up and moving. Every day she would motivate mom to take 1 or 2 more steps than she had the day before. She wasn’t pushy or aggressive, just positive and encouraging. Over time we started to see amazing progress! We love Shannon so much we had her face put on a cake! The wound care team treated mom for a large and very painful wound. When we first got here mom could hardly sit for more than a few moments without serious pain. Fast forward to today and she is now able to sit for long periods of time, comfortably in her chair! Additionally the wound is almost completely healed. The staff here at Kindred is nothing short of exceptional! All of the nurses, aids, doctors, and clinicians have gone above and beyond to provide my mom with the very best care. A few we want to give special recognition to ; Jennifer, Charge RN. Jesseka, Case Managment. Dr. Guidry, Wound Care. Dottie, Wound Care. Borbie, CNA. Brenda, RN. Cathy, CNA. Renee, CNA. Diane, Kitchen Staff. As a retired RN, I can honestly say that I have never experienced a staff quite like Kindred’s. Every single member of this staff has been kind, courteous, gentle, and professional. It is abundantly clear that everyone who works here loves what they do and comes to work with the right attitude. It is obvious not only in the way they care for their patients, but also in the way they interact with one another. There is a lot of laughter and joy in the halls here and it comes from the hearts of the people who work here! ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my moms heart, my dads heart, my sisters heart. Our whole family extends its most sincere thanks for everything!
