My stay at Regency after my double knee replacement surgery at JFK, was superb. The warmth and caring of their staff and therapists during that difficult time will always be appreciated.
It has been over 10 years since I have been presenting my shows at Regency Nursing Centers. My Dad was actually a resident at Regency Park in Hazlet, back in 2001. Over this period, I have been enamored with all of the Regency facilities, especially Regency Heritage in Somerset!
The facility has undergone beautiful renovations. The maintenance crew deserves a big compliment for the cleanliness of the entire establishment. All of the people I have come in contact with have a wonderful personality. My shows are enhanced by the smiles and interaction of the Regency Heritage staff. Many times they join in the fun.
The residents really enjoy the antics and liveliness of the Heritage guys and gals. Just last week during a show, I noticed two residents who were probably not feeling too well...but they began to participate with the music and the staff dancing around...they left happy with BIG smiles.
It seems that Regency Heritage offers the residents "something special" that pills cannot. It has been said that music and laughter are major factors in wellness and rehabilitation. All of the Regency facilities believe in entertainment, a big expense and they are to be honored for their generosity.
Mr. Bengio and the entire staff at Regency Heritage deserve recognition for the care they provided during my Mother’s illness. The subacute wing on G1 was great and therapy was up to the task.
From the beautiful facility and grounds to the amazing staff and caregivers, putting my Dad in Regency for his final days, was one of the best decisions we ever made. When the staff learned of his passing, several people who had taken care of him were brought to tears, stating that although he had spent only a short time there, he made a lasting impression. We will forever be grateful.
I was transferred to Regency Heritage Nursing Center from JFK Johnson Rehab Institute after a double knee replacement. From the very beginning, the caring staff made me feel welcome and special. I must make special mention of Mrs. Diana Tally, my physical therapist, for her utmost devotion to me during this recovery process.
Our Mom was recently at Regency Heritage for sub-acute rehabilitation and we were thrilled with their care. She has regained strength in her arms and legs and is on the road to recovery!
Just an update to the Review I added on July 6, 2015 regarding my Aunt Jessie Sherrill - I neglected to click the "Stars" to be applied to my rating and I see that it reflects 3 stars as opposed to 5. She definitely received FIVE STAR CARE!!!! I'm adding this addtion to my original review to make correct the rating - it should be 5 STARS!!!!
I was recently a patient at Regency Heritage for short term rehab, and my experience was stellar. I’d like to specifically thank my Nurse, Lisa, and their Social Worker, Phylicia. This outfit is a class act!
