I was a rehabilitative patient with 2 Regency facilities (Regency Jewish Heritage in Somerset and Regency Gardens in Wayne, NJ - long story) from December 19 thru February of last year after undergoing hip replacement surgery.

I was recently invited back to the faciIity in Somerset NJ for a free and poignant movie screening (under the name Project Witness) sponsored by Regency Heritage in conjunction with the Holocaust remembrance day. I was grateful to receive this follow up communication and invitation from Regency, which prompted me to post my review here.

I see some positive reviews and a few negative reviews and while I cannot talk for others, I can only share my experience in the hopes that it will benefit others.

Regency Heritage and Regency Gardens earned my trust and gratitude by putting me on the road to recovery in a relatively short period of time. My physical and occupational therapists were courteous and professional and I was always treated with respect.

The facilities were clean and inviting and my Wife and family members received free meals and updates whenever they'd come to visit.

Caring for an elderly and compromised patient isn't easy. Regency cared for me, as though I was family.

“My dad could be rough, but the staff at Regency Heritage for nursing and rehab in the beautiful somerset woods, is unbelievable! We are so delighted by the incredible attention & never ending desire to do whatever it takes to try and make my dad happy. Everybody is terrific here!! I feel so at peace knowing my dad is in such good hands.

An honorable mention should be extended to Debra, Laurina, Frank, Crestita, Lady, Florence, Doreen, Stacy OT, Nenita, Marlene, Benjamin, Hashim, Karen and Rabbi Z, all of them are truly great members of the Regency team!

My level of care and concern by the staff has been professional with a heart. University orthopedics said that Regency really knows what they are doing and I agree 100% Thank you

My Dad was here and we were satisfied with therapy and some of the nurses. A few could have had a better bedside manner, but by and large, the majority were excellent. The main thing is, they got me strong and healthy and back home in time for our daughter's baby shower!

My Dad was a resident here back in February of 2016 and we were pleased with the care and the therapy. The food could have been a little better. This is a good place and worthy of consideration.

With our elderly loved one who has been in and out of rehab centers over the last 4 years, our experience has been somewhat of a mixed bag, until we found Juda gutwin and the staff at the regency post acute care center in somerset.

We were originally introduced to regency park care center in hazlet, because our loved one was at Bayshore community hospital in holmdel, which is only minutes away from the regency park location.

There we were introduced to Juda who took over and calmed our fears and even helped us with referring us to medicaid consultants. His demeanor and professionalism were unerrring .

We wound up working with Juda on an admission to this sister facility in somerset and also on a medicaid application with application pros in Jackson nj.
Juda and the regency exceeded all of our expectations in terms of quality care and a beautiful location to help us sleep better at night.

No place is a substitute for home, or homecooking, but regency comes closest.

My social worker was cooperative, gave me great recommendations and made me feel like I had a say in my care. Physical therapy was very good, cooperative and I felt as if I had a good rapport with them. This is my 3rd time here.

I was a patient at the Regency Heritage in Somerset, NJ back in October 2015. I was very pleased with care and attention I received from all the nurses and therapists.
