Why Do Woman Get Hair in the Wrong Places?

There are so many woman who suffer from undesirable hair. The causes can sometimes be found, other times we just don't know for sure. Sometimes the cause is as simple as family heredity traits. Others can have hormonal issues, which should be checked by an Endocrinologist or Gynecologist. Certain Mediterranean cultures are known for hirsutism. Excessive hair growth can occur with some medications and stress has been known to exacerbate hair growth. All of the women I treat just want to be hair free regardless of the cause. Their self esteem is tied into their appearance. I am sure some have found other causes of excess hair growth, which I would very much like to hear about. I do know that the underlying Medical cause must be addressed in conjunction with treatment for successful results. From my education and practice, I know that the FDA has approved only Electrolysis as a permanent method of hair removal. I have seen so many woman that have been treated by other hair removal methods, to later find the situation unresolved or worse. Please educate yourself before making a choice. Advertisements are worthless if not backed by fact and results. Let me know your thoughts.
