More Energy in the Morning: 5 Sugar-Free, Gluten-Free Breakfast Alternatives

#5. Energizing morning juice

Let me just say, I'm not pro-juicing. But I am pro-juice. If you're going to opt to switch out a meal for juice, breakfast is the best time. This recipe I picked up from an article in The Guardian. Who did they pick it up from? Gwyneth Paltrow.

You'll need:

  • 5 large leaves of kale, ribs discarded,leaves roughly chopped
  • 1 lemon, zest and pith removed
  • 1 large apple, roughly chopped
  • A small piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 sprig of fresh mint

Thanks for the post Andrea. I'm all about the eggs and greens as well as the juice, I just avoid the apple to limit my sugar intake.. Will try the lemon water tip. Now what's for lunch? :)
