2. Keep Your Hands Clean

Whenever you touch a common surface that others use, it gives disease the chance to spread. If you touch your hands to your face, it means you're giving that disease the golden opportunity to enter your system through your eyes, nose, or mouth.

  • Wash your hands for at least 15 seconds to give your soap and/or hand sanitizer time to do it's work.
  • While you might feel less Earth-friendly, avoid the use of shared towels. Use an air dryer or paper towels.
  • Try to stop touching your face to limit what organisms are transmitted to open areas
