The exact cause of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is stillan unknown. Some theories suggest CFS may be due to inflammation in the nervoussystem.
Symptoms of CFS are similar to those of the flu includingmuscle aches, headache, and extreme fatigue for long periods of time.
Other symptoms may include:

· Forgetfulness
· Concentration problems
· Confusion
· Joint pain
· Headaches
· Muscle aches (myalgia)
· Muscle weakness
The Centers for Disease Control describes CFS as a disorderwith specific symptoms and physical signs, based on ruling out other possiblecauses.
There is currently no cure for CFS, and the goal oftreatment is to relieve symptoms. Many patients with CFS have depression thatmay improve with treatment. Medications can cause reactions or side effectsthat are worse than the CFS
Relaxation and stress-reduction techniques can help managechronic pain and fatigue. Techniques include:
· Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
· Acupuncture
· Massage therapy

Western medicine has come up short on both the causes andthe treatment for CFS. Maybe it’s time you try an alternative to drugs andvisits to the M.D. to bring the energy back to your life force.
