Loved Dr. Gilliland! Some of the staff I did not feel truly cared about me. Some just go through the motions and I feel that I am seen as just another patient than an actual human struggling.
Dr. Gilliland was very kind and spent A LOT of time with me. It was worth it just to talk to a professional let alone get a medical opinion and action plan for my current situation. I ended up choosing a different path but am so happy I met with them. They made me feel very comfortable and were welcoming.
We have had very mixed experiences here. Dr. Gililland and Dr. Reggio are very nice. We had a bad experience when we went to the office for some blood work. They neglected to tell us that a urine sample would be required as well, so after a 2 1/2 drive we used the restroom when we arrived and then had to drink a wait in order to provide the sample, with twin one year olds this was not only a huge waste of our time but a huge headache. Then we get the good news that each test costs $400. The cherry on top was the next day when they called and told me that my test had not been necessary but that the sample had already been sent to the third party lab and they were not sure what they could do about the expense. Their mistake may still end up costing me, we'll see. So even though the Dr.'s are nice you need to stay on top of the staff, it's like herding cats and can be very costly.
I really love the doctor and the open communication via email. I am happy to stay with this doctor and be a patient of this office. My only complaint is that the online form does not include atheist, agnostic, or spiritualist in the religious belief drop down menu. It's important to me that I am able to express my religious belief accurately because I do hold my atheism dearly as my religious belief system.
Dr. Gililland was very personable and friendly. Very informative and took the needed time with us. Did not make us feel rushed. We are looking forward to working with him!
