They made sure every single question I had was answered, and answered some I hadn't thought to ask. They have been excellent pediatricians for our family for over 15 years. I love the way that they interact with both me and my child every time we visit. They always respect my child's individuality and start by speaking with them during checkups. I recommend them highly. The downside? If we don't have three months lead time for routine visits, and a week's lead time for more acute things, oh well. To be fair, when our kids were very small, we made it in on the same day if they were ill - the doctors would stay late to get everyone seen. But once they hit elementary school, we started using minor emergency more and more frequently. And what's the point of having a regular doctor if you can't regularly see them?

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

Not at all. They saw me but didn't greet me at all

Sometimes, it was a little frustrating

Today was a bitter sweet moment for our family, after 17 years we had to say goodbye to Dr. Hines and his staff. I have nothing but great things to say, they were always attentive to the needs and concerns of our boys. Dr. Hines visited our 17 year old in the hospital after he was born, for his first check up, and continued every year. I knew it would be a difficult goodbye for me so I sent my husband with our son on his last well visit. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! SOUTH AUSTIN PEDIATRICS!!!!!!!!!
