I was certainly fearful about the changes in vision in both of my eyes. I saw Dr. Heltzer and he was able to diagnose the two different types of cataracts I had, I found the office to be efficient and the staff to be friendly, comforting and knowledgeable. More importantly, Dr. Heltzer assuaged my fears and I had the cataracts removed and intraocular lenses inserted. I am able to see better than I have been seeing in decades. Dr. Heltzer's "bedside" manner is comforting and he was able to explain to me in layperson's terms all of what I was experiencing, what was involved in the procedures and what to expect after. I recommend Dr Heltzer without reservation or hesitation.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Heltzer is an excellent ophthalmologist and very personable. Was very familiar with the various eye disorders and was able to give an accurate diagnosis. Will return to this office the next time I need to see an eye doctor.

I did not want to use the automated response for Dr. Heltzer, I choose to say what I feel in my own words and that is WOW! Dr. Heltzer is not only a fantastic Doctor, he and his staff have excellent manors both in the exam room and as personal acquaintances. When I visit, I feel more like I am visiting an old friend than a Doctor, A very skilled friend. In January 2010 I had serious inflammation of the Iris to the point that my drainage ducts closed off and pressure was extremely high. Needless to say I was in severe pain and scared. I called a doctor and went to see him and he immediately referred me to Dr. Heltzer. Dr. Heltzer was extremely reassuring, knowledgeable and solved the problem and took very personal interest in my care. I can only think of one other time that I was cared for at such a level that I felt more like a friend than an income stream and patient. Thanks Doc! I really hope you read this and I mean it!

I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They almost always have a promotion or special going on. Whether its a complimentary consultation for new clients or a percent-off a certain service, I always get some sort of discount. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable.
