I have been taking my kids here for over 12 years! The staff is very accommodating and Dr.trent is wonderful! She is very blunt and to the point which I appreciate. Sometimes she tells you what you don’t want to hear but that’s her job. She can’t always give you medicine for a sick child if it’s a virus. I know as parent we get upset because we don’t want to see our kids in pain but medicine is not always possible. I have move like 3 times to different cities and I still drive to see her. My kids love her and I love her!

I have be going to Dr. Trent for 20 years all 5 of my children have been a patient of hers and I couldn't see my kids going anywhere else. The fact that she remembers everything about my children and have for a fact experience her fighting on behalf of my daughter with the hospital over a misdiagnose Potomac Hospital gave. There has never been a time day or night that she has not called back due to an emergency that she knows that if I call after hours it truly is important. Yes you may have to wait its a private practice.. she knows what she is doing and I am happy to have her care for my children.

Yes, I had to wait a long time before someone was able to help me
Is this pediatrician patient with first-time mothers?
Absolutely not. They were extremely annoyed with every first-time mother
Does this provider leave you on hold for a long time when you call?
All the time! I think I got a gray hair while I was waiting
If your child is sick can the pediatrician see him/her on the same day?
Definitely not. My child usually isn't seen for over a month
Does the pediatrician get upset when you seek a second opinion?
All the time. It made me very suspicious

Dr.Trent has very good and nice staff but she is the WORST DOCTOR EVER! The time she spends checking my kids is so little. She can easily miss something. One of my sons has eczema and I told her that I had noticed he breaks out more when he eats eggs, all she said was not to give it to him any more. She didn't explain why he breaks out. She is NOT INFORMATIVE. The most she spends is like no more than 5 mins in the exam room with my kids. When she ask if I have any questions, (which I always do) she sucks her teeth and answer rudely. She is the only doctor in the office and she sees more patients then what she can handle. She is VERY RUDE TO HER STAFF even in front of the kids and parents. I also over heard allot of the other parents complaining about her and how they are changing their kids doctor. So I know im not the only parent feeling this way. Its very easy to get an appointment with her now that allot of her patients are leaving her practice. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY KIDS THERE EVER AGAIN!

Not at all! They were always present and attentive
