Dr. Horsley and his staff are professional and courteous, they always took the time to answer all my questions, and he was very gentle with my eldery mother. I wish I hadn't had to move out of state as he is the best dermatologist ever!

They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them.

I saw Dr. Horsley for over ten years, and kept going back, even referred family members, because I really liked him and think he is very competent and thorough. However, his staff has been consistently rude and unhelpful during the entire period. They were so rude to my daughter, she cried. I mentioned it to Dr. Horsley, and he said, "I know..." He seemed apologetic, almost like he felt between a rock and hard place, but no promises were made he would follow up or that changes would be made. The final straw was when I called about a prescription which was supposed to be taken twice daily, but the pill count on the prescription was so low, I was at the pharmacy every 20 days refilling it, and paying every twenty days. I asked the receptionist to ask the Doctor to phone in a prescription with a higher pill count, and she told me to have the pharmacist fax something to them, it was "easier that way." I then asked for a call back from the doctor because I just didn't want to have to deal with the lady anymore. I knew she didn't want to help, and was just making me jump through hoops, as if a Doctor's office never phoned a pharmacy before. I never got a call. I can't say whether that was because he just didn't want to call, or that she just didn't give him the message. I thought about writing a letter, but I figured I had done enough discussing the problems with him before and he didn't care. Plus, she probably opens the mail, and would probably shred any such letter. If they feel your insurance company didn't pay them enough, they are Johnny on the Spot billing you, though. I am sad to have left Dr. Horsley, but I felt forced out the door by the staff.
