The inability to tolerate foods and environmental factors, also known as sensitivity or intolerance, induces chronic activation of the innate immune system and gives rise to inflammatory processes, which includes excess production of reactive oxygen species and the release of preformed and newly synthesized mediators of inflammation. \n\nThis inflammation has been linked to countless chronic conditions, including: digestive disorders, migraines, obesity, chronic fatigue, ADD, aching joints, skin disorders, arthritis and many more. \n\nHow does food sensitivity differ from classic food allergies? \nTrue food allergies refer to foods that trigger the immune system to acutely produce massive amounts of the chemical histamine that leads to anaphylaxis. This potentially fatal condition causes the throat and esophagus to swell, cutting off air from the lungs, or may simply cause hives, skin rashes, and other non-life-threatening reactions.\n\nThis type of reaction is called a type I hypersensitivity reaction, caused by the degranulation of mast cells or basophils that is mediated by Immunoglobulin E (IgE). \n \nFood and Chemical Sensitivity/Intolerance Test has provided many of my patients with a tool to successfully overcome a wide variety of conditions, such as digestive disorders, migraines, obesity, chronic fatigue, skin disorders and arthritis, which result from food and chemical sensitivities. \n\n\n

My heart is to help people live healthier and happier lives. I have alot of wisdom and life experience in this area behind me and would love to to impact someone elses life for the better. Its so easy to make the decision to change, its alot harder to follow through with that decision.\nYou can't do it alone, you need support, someone cheering you on. Getting a membership to a gym or recruiting a friend to walk this journey with you is a great start.\nAnd dont even think about quitting, once you start keep going, you wont regret it!!! :D

To take a more natural and humanistic approach to life and health as a chiropractor.\n\n"The art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind."\n\n-- Philipus Aureolus Paracelsus\n\n\n

if i'm going to help someone live a happier, healthier life, i want to take my own advice and suggestions! this can be more difficult than it would seem, but it is so important to me to have integrity and make sure that whatever recommendation i would make for a client is something that i have tried personally and has worked for me in my experience. i try my best every day to make the same healthful choices that i suggest for my clients and even for friends and family members who ask me random questions about nutrition, exercise, etc. after all, if i'm not doing those very same things, i risk the chance of losing their respect and trust, which is definitely something i don't want to lose! i appreciate these random questions people ask me. i think a lot of health and wellness professionals tend to get so caught up in taking care of the health and wellness of others, that we can easily lose site of our own health and wellness! so just remember- how can you better take care of them without taking better care of yourself, too!?

A lofty idea! I would love to open a wellness center. State of the art, that attends to the whole person. A place one would want to come and spend the day nurtured and surrounded by wellness, shops, doctors, healers, healthy food and shopping, essential oils misting, Oh well, I could go on and on.

Living a healthier lifestyle is not as hard as you think it may be. It does take some time especially if you are not living like this right now. If you set goals in the beginning you will have a lot more success to stay on track. Living a healthier lifestyle is more that just physical it is mental, because that controls so much of what we do physically.
