Jay Berger, MD, PhD
Jay S Berger, MD, PhD, is an attending physician and Associate Professor, Anesthesiology and Director of the Integration Course at Montefiore Einstein. He is also Course Director of the Integration Course at Einstein. Dr Berger has extensive experience in Critical Care Medicine and Anesthesiology with expertise in perioperative pain management, mechanical ventilation in the ICU and solid organ transplantation postoperative care. A graduate of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Dr Berger attended the institution’s combined MD/PhD program, earning his Doctor of Philosophy in 2002 and his Doctor of Medicine in 2003.
