Peter Dicpinigaitis, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and an attending physician in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. In addition to his clinical focus in care of critically ill patients, Dr Dicpinigaitis is also founder and director of the Montefiore Cough Center, one of the few specialty centers in the world dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic cough. A graduate of New York University, Dr Dicpinigaitis earned his Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from the institution in 1983 followed by his Doctor of Medicine in 1987.
