EMPLOYEE WELLNESS PROGRAMS

Wellness has now been truly spread globally, each company develops a program for their employees, aiming to get and stay fit. All employees will now have the chance to be indulged in a healthy physical activity even during office hours or even as a part of a company activity. Underweight, overweight and obese employees can gradually perform healthy exercise activities; they could enjoy and have fun as well in every event scheduled. Some companies have tied-up with a fitness gym or fitness club and even in some recreation centers where indoor or outdoor games and sports are available for the employees to participate in.
By promoting wellness programs, the company is also providing health benefits to their employees. In helping them to be healthy, fit and well, the company is bringing higher earnings and positive results from the performance given by their employees. It was believed to increase productivity, lower health insurance cost for the company and fewer sick leaves taken by the employees.
