Newport Beach Chiropractor: Unborn Babies Contaminated With GMO Toxins

I read an alarming statistic recently that sheds light on what the biotechnology industry tells us to be true. Recent research published in the journal Reproductive Toxicology reports that 93% of blood samples taken from pregnant women and 80% from umbilical cords tested positive for toxins proven to be used in Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) crops.

Prior to the release of this study, the biotech industry insisted that toxins in GMOs did not end up in the human body after consumption. This study, however, finds that not only does the toxin end up in the body, it is transferable from pregnant mothers to their unborn babies and can be consumed directly from the foods that were grown with the toxins or via consuming meat from livestock that fed on the crops.

This study raises questions about what is really in the foods we eat and again reminds us-especially pregnant mothers-to be vigilant and discerning about what we eat ourselves and what we feed our children!
