Newport Beach Chiropractor: Americans Are Now Fat Enough To Require Larger Ambulances

Okay so we're no longer the most obese country in the world... but we can't quite celebrate yet. According to this interesting article, cities around the U.S. are having to increase the sizes of our cities' ambulances in order to accommodate larger passengers, that is-passengers in excess of 400 pounds or more. Another consideration? One EMT in Boston, MA displaced vertebrae while carrying a 400-pound woman (not the best reason to visit your chiropractor!). If this isn't a wake-up call for us Americans, I don't know what is!
