Are You Disabled?

Considering almost everyone starts off with equality in frame design, you could be partially disabled if you can't do what I easily can. Agree or disagree?

I suppose the topic of disability is a bit taboo - perhaps not. Lots of us are perfect examples of the walking disabled. The mere absence of an independent medical evaluator documenting a percentage disability for you personally is irrelevant. The disability remains.

According to the 2005 Surgeon General's Call to Action to Improve the Health and Wellness of Persons with Disabilities, "Challenges to a person's health can happen to anyone, at any age and at any time as a result of any number of different causes. When limitations related to a medical condition arise and begin to have a negative effect on essential life functions, such as walking, talking, seeing, hearing, or working (functions often referred to as "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs), a person is said to have a disability."
