Here's a study published this month in Spine Journal. How exciting! Well, maybe just for me but I'm a research nerd. Anyway, in this study, the authors set out to determine whether women with scoliosis shrink faster than their counterpart without scoliosis. Well, guess what they learned?! Yep! They do shrink faster; twice as fast.
What I find incredibly interesting is the fact medical professionals still think shrinking is normal and is unavoidable. Folks, "Fear is the fire that fuels the furnace of disease!" I learned this in Chiropractic school years ago thanks to Dr. Fred Barge.
Don't fear my friend! Help is on the way; it's called structural spinal rehabilitation! Always remember: the spine has a normal optimal position that best resists gravity and allows for optimal joint and nerve function. It's only once the spine begins to deviate from this normal position that it begins to "shrink." Shrinking is common, not normal! Join the revolution, Fight De-Evolution!!!
