I have been working with folks in parts for almost twenty years. It was MPD back then...lol. I have heard most of what people can do to harm children and stayed in there to help folks heal. In this journey I have gained understanding, a whole tool box of stuff to help, and empathy. My greatest pleasure in this community of folks is helping them face fear and move on to more "normality" in their lives....

I guess this is the place for my thoughts on the above topic :)) As a member of the Harry Benjamin group for fifteen years, I've watched this community grow and increase its voice. At first the organization was doctors only; now, many transsexual and transgender people are part of the attempts to give good service to this community of brave folks.
