He is great,. But sometimes tries to see too many patients so you end up waiting for hours. One time I waited 5 hours! Plus office staff cant keep up withvall of the insurance demands, which at one point cost me $2000.

Dr. Farmer is far and away the best board certified doctor you will find in Central Florida.

The staff is professional and attentive; courtesy is always observed in this office.

The first time that I called Farmer's office (Maria Lozano's) I was given attitude and even when stressing that it was a psychological emergency, was told the earliest I could get in was 1.5-2 months depending on who I was willing to see. I ended up booking the appt. and waiting patiently as I found this office to be one of the only that are open past 5:00 p.m. on certain days. When I arrived at the office so many weeks later, excited to start myself down a path of resolution to my mental woes, I was met by a very sick little girl with a mask who, come to find out, had been waiting 3.5 hours for her appt. and that was just for a prescription refill. Her real need was Centra Care but she couldn't get there until her medicine was provided. Awful, I had a 6:00 p.m. and was finally told that it would likely be after 8:00 p.m. until I was seen, then allow an hour or so of talking as a new patient and suddenly, I'm getting home past my bedtime. No thanks. The receptionist even agreed with every point that I made, stating that her and the rest of the staff have tried to bring this over-booking issue up to the doctor as well as the owner of the clinic several times in the past, and are simply told that the doctor takes time with his patients and to continue scheduling as they are. And past that, if and when I do need refills, the process that I witnessed will be what I have to go through? Outrageous. I demanded a full refund and am actively seeking a doctor whose practice can run as a real business should. And because of the ridiculous way that this practice chooses to run itself, I, the patient, am now forced to suffer through another waiting period as a new patient with another doctor. This is a simple lack of caring, compassion, and common respect; all of which should come first and foremost within a mental health facility.
