My family and I just put our family cat of 14 years to sleep and dr. Rice handled it with such disrespect and a lack of care that made a horrible experience even worse. He was unprepared for our visit and was loud and referred to our cat as an it and used language such as, “this isn’t the shot that’ll do her in.” just a few minutes after she left us he put her in a fed ex box that was too small for her. The lack of empathy was astounding and worrisome to see from someone in this profession. I do not want anyone to share this experience please look elsewhere for this service. My baby deserved better in her last moments and so does yours.
Very personable, competent, caring, reasonable. Saw him with my elderly poodle x 3 for illness while i was working in the area short term, and he was the only vet in WNY who would see a ‘non-enrolled’ pet.
Dr . Tim Rice I’ve known for 20 years since I’ve lived here & he and his wife are the nicest vets you’ll ever take your dogs/cats/rabbits /horses etc to him. He Actually cares about you! . Say you talk to him 1 year and the next you go in for a checkup ..he will remember what you have told him from a year ago and start from that point. He and his wife really do care about you and your pets . I’ve never known of Vets who care so much about your family that when you have a baby of your own (human lol) they remember you and make you feel special by buying your baby a present well then ..WOW .. I call them family but that’s just me ..they don’t feel the same but I do bc it meant the world ti me knowing someone out there really cares so thank you from my heart -the best ! Thanx :)
Very thorough and compassionate care. Big guy but gentle hands. Has worked for many yrs on all ages of our animals and is still on point and listens to you carefully.
