Dr. Hirata and the staff at Kapalama Pet Hospital were very friendly and extremely helpful to me when I took our puppy, Bella, for her initial examination/check-up. Bella is the first puppy our family has had so as a new and inexperienced owner, I had several questions and concerns about how to take care of her. While examining Bella, Dr. Hirata was kind enough to answer all of my questions and to offer other helpful advice. I'm glad The Pet Corner referred us to Kapalama Pet Hospital. I found Dr. Hirata and his staff to be very professional, and genuinely warm and welcoming too.

I took my puppy, Lucy, for her complimentary vet visit after purchasing her from the pet corner. Dr. Hirata was fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable. His staff was so welcoming and accommodated my scheduling needs. Even though this hospital is 10 miles out of my way, and there are other options in my area, I will continue to bring my little girl, Lucy, to Dr. Hirata.

My Shiba Inu, Emi Bearfox, loves coming to Dr. Hirata's office! They always take great care of her and are always looking to provide holistic care for all that she needs. For example, on a regular checkup they gave us advice on the following, 1. Dental care (she needs more brushing from us!), 2. Weigh care (she needs to lose 1 lb.), and 3. General emotional wellness (she is happy and active). They are always responsive to our needs and usually can make it work for us in the event of an emergency appointment. We have been with Kapalama for over 2 years now and would recommend to anyone, especially if you have a Shiba, Dr. Hirata specializes in this amazing breed!

Shadow's first visit to the vet was a great experience. Dr. Hirata was so friendly as well as the staff. The days and hours the office is open is very accommodating since they open on both Saturday and Sunday which really helps us out.

We brought our baby Shadow for the first time to see Dr. Gleason Hirata and he took such good care of her on her first visit to the vet. The experience was great for both of us and Shadow and we will be seeing Dr. Gleason for as long as she gets good care from him. Dr. and staff are super friendly and helpful.

"They are a very important part of our famaily. They have been taking care of my kids, Mickey, Little Jo, & Sampson Shaquille Silkwood for 20 years. We could not exist without them. Whether its an emergancy, or just a happy check up, we always look forward to a visit. Even if they are closed & I have a dumb
question, they always call back in a timely fashion, & always express genuine concern about my kids! Bottom line they care!!!!! We love Dr. Hirata & his staff.@ Kapalama Pet Hospital!!!!"
