"Dr. Hirata performed my dog's extensive
oral surgery and teeth cleaning and I am very pleased with the result.
Upon arrival, his entire staff was very friendly and helpful.
During his pre-op exam, I found Dr. Hirata to be very friendly, honest
and knowledgeable. He offered sound advice and effective tools for
challenging situations. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable his
fees were for the amount of work he performed. Thank you Dr. Hirata &
staff for making a difficult procedure much easier for Peyton and I."

"in the late '90s we had to put our cat, kirk, to sleep, and dr hirata was very compassionate. i have been taking mei, our dog, to kapalama since soon
after we got her, almost five years ago. they are very friendly, professional,
and specific with care instructions. today mei has just gotten home after
surgery to remove a tumor (hopefully benign, we are awaiting results) and is
doing fine. the process was quick, taking only a few hours. they waived several
fees, and, while not inexpensive, the cost was reasonable. we also received a
call yesterday to remind us not to feed or give her water before the surgery. i
definitely recommend kapalama pet hospital."

Dr. Hirata & staff are very friendly and made our pet feel comfortable and at ease, even though our pet was shaking like a leaf at first! I would & did recommend Dr. Hirata to other family members, who did take their pet there also. Will be seeing him this week for continued pet care!
