Dr Carol Bowman was one of the most concerned "people I have ever met in the profession.She cared about you and your well being. She worked hard to help you understand where you were coming from and where others around you were coming from to you could sort things out on your own for yourself. I don't think I have ever met anyone, who has ever wanted your mental health to be healthy, any more than Dr Bowman. She was a genuine and caring person and I am happy to have known her.

I couldn't imagine why anyone would recommend Carol Bowman. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Carol Bowman to anyone! I was really confused and frustrated after my appointments. Carol Bowman made zero attempt to answer any of my questions. I don't think I have ever experienced someone in a 'Therapist' role who was so rude! BAD BAD BAD! Find another therapist!!

I have seen Carol for one year before I finally gave up and went with a different therapist.

To give an example, I remember sitting across from her, being asked a series of questions to determine if I was bi-polar. I thought this to be a useless exercise, since I had never been diagnosed as being bi-polar, nor was I seeing her for bi-polar issues. After she finished, she determined that I was indeed not bi-polar, and she did not really provide any real insight as to why we were doing this fruitless exercise. I felt annoyed that she was not allowing me to express myself and listen, which is why I was seeking a therapist. Some of the time, I felt as if our sessions were filled with silence, which she filled with personal facts about her life.

I have been so four therapist in my life, dealing with depression and difficulty with coping with life’s struggles, and I can say that my time with her has unproductive and a waste of my money. I have found a new therapist, which I would recommend to anyone, but as far as Carol Bowman, please do yourself a favor and seek someone else. Your time and money will be better spent. This woman is not professional, she is rude, she is confrontational, and these are not qualities for a person who you will entrust your mental wellbeing.

Rarely

Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond

Absolutely not! I don't think they have one!
Did this psychologist leave you unattended for an extended period of time?
I was left alone for awhile, but it wasn't too long

No, they didn't wear any cologne

Yes, I've never had to worry about them missing any important information

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

Dr. Bowman has been a heaven sent angel for me and my boys. We went through a terrible, life changing event 2 1/2 years ago and I don't know where we would be without Dr. Bowman. She has helped myself and my boys so much. She is always available to talk on the phone or make an emergency appointment, if needed. She has gone above and beyond to show me and the boys love. I have recommended Dr. Bowman to many people and will continue to do so. She truly cares for us and it shows. We feel so blessed to have her in our lives.

Dr. Carol Bowman was a lifeline for me and for my family. Many years ago I began as a patient of Dr. Bowman's. She worked professionally and was skilled in her ability to work with me, my husband, and my daughter. I am happy to report that I no longer need her services, but if at any time I need her services I know she is only a phone call away for an appointment. By the way, our family had a few emergency sessions over the years and Dr. Bowman always accommodated us quickly and brought the crisis to a manageable level. I am pleased to be able to recommend Dr. Bowman completely.

Absolutely! I'm always able to get my questions answered over the phone right away!
Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
Did this psychologist use excessive foul language?
Not at all! They are always respectful and courteous!
Was it clear that this provider takes pride in the appearance of his/her office?
Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!
Is this provider willing to pursue advice from other providers when necessary?
Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

By far the most unprofessional therapist I have ever had the distaste of knowing.

My sessions seemed unfocused to the point that she would ramble about her life, which I found funny since I was paying her money to listen to my issues. Her insights to be were outdated.

Towards the end I found Carol to be rude, passive aggressive, and hostile. I wish I had never spend so much time on her; I knew that there were better therapist out there, but because of convenient hours i decided to stay so long --BIGGEST MISTAKE.
