After several months of treating my dog for a fungal infection, my regular vet took one look and ran blood work, determining that she actually has cutaneous lymphoma. Three rounds of anti-fungals and the "expert" couldn't figure out why it was not working? I even questioned whether or not there was something else possibly going on and this arrogant little man blew me off rather than entertain the possibility that he does not know everything.

My dog had a skin problem that seemed to defy treatment and our regular vet was stumped. He recommended this specialist. The problem was diagnosed and treated with antibiotic capsules and special shampoo. It has been a month now and the skin problem is almost completely gone. We have a follow up appointment in a few days. Very pleased.

Absolutely! I was never asked to leave and stayed with my pet the whole time

They right away started up about what I have to get done before even looking at my dog. He did a brush over quick exam and saw the vet for five minutes after spending ten minutes talking to the tech and prior waiting 30 mins. I felt like it was all about making money and not about actual realistic education and care. We spent thousands on allergy tests and relief prior but the vet did not even want to see prior tests or history and just told us his tests and products we're better ( being the same things we had bought before). It was pretty much that he seemed like a broken record of a car dealership salesman, that wanted money. Our estimate was about a thousand, we said we would consider but had to think about such costs first. So the vet just walked out and flat out told his receptionist in the waiting room we denied all treatment (what!?). I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I don't know if dooffer emergency after-hour services, which is frustrating because in an emergency I want to be able to see someone I trust but since I was rushed, not really considered and listened to I will not consider entrusting this specialist with my dogs complicated issues anyway. I arrived in time but waited a good while there. I didn't get to see the vet for awhile and mainly consulted and spoke to his nurse who pretty much rushed to the back telling the vet a quick 5 min. Summary of our year long ordeal with the vet quickly rushing in starting his pitch prior to even literally looking at my pet. The exam was 89$ just to see the vet (5-10 mins. I did not expect to mainly see and talk to his nurse and them not even caring to see or really review the history). They only cared about what would make them the most money and got plain quick to get unfriendly after I said I had to think about the huge bill.
