As far as technical skill goes, this vet is great. But if he doesn't like you personally, while he'll treat your pet great, you'll pay more - likes my wife; doesn't like me. She picks up meds and always pays a lower price than if I do. Staff is condescending and surly. Wants you to buy your med there rather than online. Won't give approval to online pet pharmacy forcing you to pick up meds and if pressed a written script. Whether you have an appointment or not, plan to be there over an hour - even if you are just picking up meds. Big and growing practice needs more than one vet.
Do not kennel there - dog traumatized and brought to me covered in urine and shaking - after one night there!

Dr. James Keller is an expert reptile vet who has treated my bearded dragons since I became a reptile keeper in 2011. The office and exam rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have never been put on hold, or had to listen to tacky music. I have called for issues and been seen the same day. Dr Keller answers all my questions and I would never dream of taking my reptiles anywhere else.

They are always great about getting our pets in asap. I have never had an issues getting a pet in, the same day as calling with the ailment. Staff is always very friendly and genuinely cares about the animals. They remember animals names, their history etc.. (or my pets just seem to be there a lot lol). Anytime I am there, they ask how the other pets are doing with their medications/ailments etc. They don't do unnecessary procedures, or recommend procedures that would ultimately cost an arm and a leg if they aren't truly needed. For the first time in my history of owning animals can I take them to the vet without worrying what it's going to cost. The prices are very reasonable, and they are great about giving estimates before conducting procedures. My questions are always answered in great detail, and I have never had a problem with getting an answer to a question about meds etc after getting the pet home, but needing to call the office for further clarification. The only thing that could use a little bit of working on, on their part is calling with test results. I find that if our pets have tests, I typically have to call in to get the results which is a small price to pay for an amazing and knowledgable staff, that treats our pets like they were their own. I have highly recommended Countryside to many friends and family members, a few of whom have switched over to them.

As a New York State K9 Search and Rescue Handler, I feel that my partner has the highest level of care at every visit. They are profesinal, polite, and know her by name. I feel as if they are the best VETs I have ever met. Thank you all so much.

I had never been to this vet before. I called this morning because one of our very young kittens had been urinating in places other than her litter box. After trying a few different things to eliminate the problem, she was still having accidents. I started to think that maybe she had a UTI so I contacted them, the receptionist was SO friendly. She was able to get me in today which I thought was amazing and she was able to give me a rough estimate of what the visit would cost (she quoted roughly $100). The Dr was just as friendly as the rest of the staff. He even answered questions about our other cat who I had noticed had been sneezing etc a little bit (I did not bring her with us today though). He tested our kitten for a UTI which she did test positive for, he prescribed her meds and even gave me enough for the other kitten as well just to be safe. The overall bill was $75 which I thought was great! So many vets are just about the money and recommending services that aren't needed and this place definitely was not like that at all.. I will definitely be bringing all of our pets (even the dogs) in to see Dr. Keller!!
