The all time worst place to try to get medicine. Lines are long and often stand in line 10 minutes and longer waiting while only one staff person assists person with problem. Recently had problem with refill... staff blamed on a new system but, while they knew there was a problem, they still didn't over ride the glitch to get timely refill. Wait several days while they kept trying to get their help desk to fix the problem. Recently tried to refill two more refills with more than 9 months of approved refills only to yet again receive automated reply saying there were no more refills available. We switched to different pharmacy. Life is too short.

Pharmacy technician, Jamie ? don't know her last name, over the 7 years we have been customers has deliberately not ordered or won't order some medications for my husband and myself, she has been extremely rude to us numerous times, including repeatedly hanging up when we call when she answers the phone. She has violated my hippa regulations by calling out my medication and allowing other customers inline to come up and butt-in while throwing my paper
Rx on the counter or medication bottles so anyone could read them. There has been other bad treatment from her that causes much stress, while it is none of her business I have heart issues and worsening renal failure, multiple fusions in hands and spine, extremely painful arthritis, so as you can see I don't needed anymore additional stress.

Whatever happened to pride in having an outstanding work ethic and kindness with customers have many failing medical issues?

Jamie has told us we can go to a different pharmacy!

I am not one to leave reviews but if I do its for 2 reasons. One is either I was extremely dissatisfied or 2 is that i was very pleased. Sadly, I will not be giving a "pleased" review with East Wenatchee Safeway pharmacy. I have been going to Safeway pharmacy for a couple of years. Inspite of the fact that the wait is between and hour to two hours before picking up my script I went to them because it was closest to home. I do not understand the long wait time because every other busy pharmacy usually gets peopls scripts done in 30-45 min. Well the past 6 months has just flat out frustrated me. I will drop my scripts off after my appt . I usually have them there by 1 pm . They twll me its a 2 hour wait and as annoying as that is here i say ok . Well when i come back 2 and a half hours later to pick them up they say they dont have my scripts and ask if i am sure i dropped them off. I get frustrated and they eventually find them and say they will get them started and to come back in one hour so i do. Samething again , they cant find my script and eventually they do and say another hour. Well, now im just irritated. An hour amd a half later i decide being that i have 4 kids i do not want ti load back up just to be sent back again to call and ask if they are ready . When i call they have no clue what im talking about till they find them. I didnt get my scripts till 10 minutes before they closed at 8:50 pm. I could not believe the unprofessional behavior, how disorganized they are, and how very unfriendly they think they can be about it like they think its ok . After 3 more rimes over the next 3 months of dealing with pretty much same scenario i decided to go to fred meyer where the longest on a busy day i waited was 30 minutes. Not only that but their staff is friendlier. There are a couple pharmicists at safeway in east wenatchee that are sweet but not so many with the techs. I learned that other people are experiencing this same thing and are done with East Wenatchee Safeway pharmacy. I do not know what their issue is lately and why they are so extremely slow and disorganized but i am done wasting my time and gas on them and their poor customer service. I dont know if they have new employees over yhe past 6 months but i havent ever seen such poor service. Again, there are a few male pharmacists there that are extremely kind, caring and apologetic but its unfortunately not enough when they are disorganized, slow and rest are rude. I hope they get on bored with the other pharmacies and figure out how to get scripts out in under an hour, get organized, and be friendly.

Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. I came a few minutes before closing, the lights were on, several staff were present, but the staff refused to fill my prescription. She said she had already closed the till, but it was at least 5 minutes before closing. I explained I was going out of town and really needed my medication, but she was not sympathetic, and said sorry I can't do anything. I had to go two more days to get my medication because I had to have them sent to the place out of town and it took another day of travel and another day to find a pharmacy.
