I have taken one of my cats to this vet several times. Each time, Dr. Lassen was polite, compassionate, and very helpful. We always walked out with the help we needed.

However, when I called to see if I could bring in my other cat who has suddenly started limping, Lea was rude, and told me not to bother bringing him in. She told me there were several other vets who specialized in orthopedics.
*We don't even know if it IS an orthopedic problem.
It could be a bite, or a thorn I cannot see, or a sprain, or even something else entirely, yet she refused to even set up an appointment to just check. I would have been fine had the Dr told me I needed to take him to a specialist after a check, but to not even be willing to see my pet and provide an opinion is VERY unprofessional and shows a lack of animal compassion. I have NEVER had a vet who refused to see a hurt animal, I am just in shock.

From the sidebar of the page, submitted by the Clinic, "We are a full service vet clinic for your family cat or dog. We can help you with any emergency or preventive care that you are needing for your loved ones. "

Yet they REFUSED to see my cat. Lovely.

*After a visit to another vet, we determined it was a sprain, and received pain medication. A 40 minute drive to another vet, because the one 10 minutes away refused to see him. How awful.

If you want the best, sincere care this is the Doctor and Staff for your pets. Our favorite and only choice for 6 dogs, 1 cat for 13 years.

Absolutely! I was never asked to leave and stayed with my pet the whole time

I've used Buckley vet for many years. I get excellent care for my dog that doesn't empty my bank account. They are a no nonsense provider that won't try to sell you expensive and unneeded treatments. While I agree with the friendliness comments shared by other reviewers concerning the front desk, she seems much better the last few visits. Maybe they got the message!

the desk clerk was rude, my dog just needed a current rabies shot, the clerk gave business away by telling me to go some where else, must be nice to have that much business.... who does that?

They were very honest and open and MUCH MUCH more reasonably priced than other area vets (almost half the price for an annual visit. The front desk attendant was polite and helpful, but did not come across as very friendly (but not at all rude).
My only real complaint was that the vet exam was very fast. The vet was very knowledgable though and didn't eem to need lots of time--but if you lare a worrier this moght bother you more.
Despite these small problems it was still a better vet visit than I ever recieved at my previous vet (expensive, long, and while friendly, not completely honest) and I recommend them a lot.
