My friend referred me here after she's been a client for years. I was hesitant at first after reading some reviews but I can say without a doubt, I love this place. Dr. John is absolutely amazing and loves what he does and you can see he loves animals. I take my 3 dogs and cat here. Dr John doesn't have you spend unecessary money and gives the best care possible or refers you to someone who can do what he can't. In either case, he and his staff have been great with my fur babies and me.

He could be a big city Vet charging you the excessive amounts that most vets do, but he believes in providing to his community and giving the best care at small town prices. You can't ask for more than that.

I adore The Pet Hospital! We first took our dog there when our regular vet could not see her immediately. I called them told them the symptoms and they said they could see her as soon as we could get there. We took her right there, they did some tests and x-rays and determine her stomach had flipped (they call it bloat) and they did immediate surgery. Dr. LaStella saved her life! She had a hard time coming out of anesthesia and they were fantastic with working her through it to the point of laying on the floor and talking to her. They continued to follow-up with us throughout her healing. A year later our dog started to get sick and we needed more testing than they could provide so they sent us to Carolina Vet Specialist (GREAT TOO). The Pet Hospital staff made sure to call us and answer any and all questions we had during the entire process even though she was technically no longer under their care. Even after we had to put our dog to sleep they called to express their condolences and their office even sent a handwritten sympathy note signed by everyone. Their service is second to none, the doctors really love pets and their customer service cannot be beat! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
