Beware!! Look elsewhere. This facility has numerous pending charges from Financial Fraud, Neglect to Elder Abuse.

Sings of neglect is riddled all over my mom's medical file while she was staying there. Now we have an elder abuse attorney after them. On the outside they may seem friendly and helpful to the patients but that's not the case at all. Every time I'm on the phone with my mom and she needed help from the nurses, many of them just walked out of the room while my mom was practically yelling at them. On top of that I have encountered only a handful of people who can speak good English to discuss medical issues. The staff also steals because I have found my mom's belongings missing.

When my family and I visited the place, a lot of the nurses were friendly and we were able to communicate well. The facility is very clean and there wasn't any unpleasant odor. Whenever I called for a nurse to come, they would always come without a minute to waste. Breakfast, lunch , and dinner seems delicious. Also, the parking lot is very convenient. I think the location is great as well. The administrator patiently listens to what I have to say when I talk with him.

I am writing in regards to Torrance Care Center West, A family member and I went on a tour of this facility. We were looking for a safe and nice place for my grandfather so we choose this facility we were told space was available over the phone so we went to view it. Upon arrival we met with a staff member who assured us things would be fine. But, when we started asking certain questions about the facility we were told they had nothing available at this time. We were shocked because we were told they had room. I can't believe this now we have to start all over looking for a new place.
I am so upset because it seems like this place is full of it!!
