My dad was there for rehab and I regret sending him there. My son found him slumped over in his wheelchair in an area where there were 4 nurses standing around eating ice cream. He demanded that they call an ambulance, they wanted to put him back to bed with a Tylenol. Hours later, our family had to make the decision whether to put Dad on a ventilator or not. The nurse said that she thought that he was just exhausted from therapy, but he hadn't had therapy that day. She said that she wasn't familiar with him because he was a new patient. Then she should have read his file to have known who he was and that it wasn't like him to be slumped over in a wheelchair! My dad had other valid complaints, too and I felt that i had to make sure that I visited him for a few hours a day to keep them on their toes. Dad passed away 2 days later and they sent my mom a plant, seriously? Perhaps Dad wouldn't have survived even if they had called the ambulance, but they left him sitting there, in his hour of need, like they couldn't be bothered. If my son hadn't gone by to visit him, I'm not sure what would have happened.

They act like they are doing you a favor. Did not really seem to care about the safety of the residents or the comfort.

Yes! They took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

This provider wasn't even competent in their own field let alone offering me guidance in any other area.
