Do NOT put someone you care about there!! We thought a private room in the Rehab section was a positive. WRONG! Staff ignored my sister leaving her call button unanswered for over 1 1/2 hours choking, she was on oxygen and was having trouble breathing and needed help. Continued to give her foods not appropriate for a diabetic. Started her on insulin which she never had to take before. I'm convinced the food they gave her contributed to this. There was a leak from the room next door right next to her bed for several days. Their response was to soak up the water with sheets and towels which turned brown! (SEWAGE?!) Her breathing was a lot worse when the soaked floor was present. The only positive thing about the whole place was occupational & physical therapy. Do your loved one a favor and find somewhere else!!!!!!!

As a professional RN with 25 years in the field working with older adults in a variety of settings I would recommend staying as far as you can from this facility. My grandmother lived here the last four months of her life and died here. From what I could find , the facility lacks adequate Nursing staff. I believe there are only 3-4 registered nurses. The staff are unprofessional and lack all knowledge of end of life care and pain management. When problems arise the staff will not address them in a professional way. When advocating for my grandmother the staff used tactics of bullying and intimidation. The Facility is owned by a for profit organization. When I called the complaint line the person was completely unprofessional and did not listen to my concerns.
I would stay clear of St. Anthony's and their Horrible unprofessional care.
