the care there is not good and the food is not good had to bring food there for the patient to eat some of the people there especially the nurse are very nice and they do care about the patient. that social worker they need to let her go. the rating is 0. and Sandra you need to let her go she is very rude with me on the floor like a street woman.

I have never taken a tour of this facility. However on my one and only visit there to see a resident I was talked down to by the head of Social Services. I think her name was Sandra. She was the rudest person. She had no class even though I was talking to her with compassion. She refused to allow me to visit a resident because she did not want to and explained that her head administrator said no. She also gave excuses about Dept of Health would not allow it. I think she is full of it. She said she has 15+ years of experience in this industry. But 0 years with class. I would not recommend anyone else to go there if this woman still works there,

This facility is totally disgusting. My family and I came from out-of-town to see our relative and upon seeing her and the conditions of this place, all we could do was cry. The staff members were very non-professional and demonstrated no courtesy or concern at all. We observed them with others patients and felt so sorry for them. Mannerism was very poor and the place itself smelled of urine as well as not clean. Why should any patient should have to endure such? Superiors need to do an unannounced evaluation to bring this facility up to par. If staff members are only there for the paycheck and not the total well-being of there patients, they should be terminated.

Really don't like the facility. Can't even go outside and when I tried I got yelled at by 2 women in the social workers office. Wet, urine soaked bed, People mistreated because their are too many residents per workers. Not Dementia Unit but Psych Unit. Some very nice workers but don't speak up for the inhumane treatment. Just a job to them, not overall concern for residents. Cold water in showers. Wonder why people are agitated.

Not a good place at all to enhance well being, especially on the 5th floor. Isaw people in the hall in the nude. So loud and the alarms are awful and the food is not appealing at all. I would not recommend this facility. Bright spot-the Communion Service on Sunday. Staff is too overworked and there are too many patients per staff ratio. They just seem to want to get money. They should be ashamed.

There is a social worker there name Sandra that routinely and loudly discusses patient issues in the hallways regardless of who is there. She takes it upon herself to chastise family members and loudly too. I am considering contacting JACO on her just because she is unfit to be in an environment that provides care for the sick and elderly. There is also a nurse that sits with her during meetings that is just as clueless. She is equally nasty. They both need to go.

I went to the center to visit a family member, and to my surprise I saw my family member lying on the floor and no one helped him. I overheard a employee say " I'm not picking him up let him stay there, that when I stated to the employee "what are we going to do about this problem?' (they didn't realize that I overheard they comment)..I know that my family member must have been there for a long time because it took them along time to lift him up with some kind of a holster. My family needs to have a Depends on and they didn't have none on him, he was was covered with feces. My family member can not feed his self because he was injured when he fell and can't use his arms. I offered to feed him and they told me to leave the dining area. They have know chairs by his bed so you can sit and talk to him, its overcrowded and the smell makes you want to throw up. the staff have no compassion for clients that there, its HORRIBLE. I want to know why someone have not done something about the way these patient are being treated. I'm going to see what I can do. All my life I always was concern about people well being and I not going to stop now. I served my country for 23 years in three branches of the Military and many years as a Law Enforcement Officer and I feel there something have to be done about the mistreating of these patients. With God on my side I know he will guide me in the right direction.
