This place is horrible. My grandmother had to do a short stint in rehab after a pace maker surgery. She was told she could not get up without asking for assistance. She was left in a chair and no one came to help her. She was repeatedly pressing her call light for help for going to the restroom, and no one came! She finally after over a hour of waiting patiently, managed to get herself out to the hallway and ask for help. She is on a very strict diet due to kidney disease and heart. She was given roast beef and gravy for dinner which is highly against doctors orders. When she explained she could not eat that, she was told that is what she is getting, there are not any other options. I am now trying to relocate her to a place that actually will help her get stronger

Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else!

Absolutely not!! They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them

The team at Country is excellent - a variety of talents and skills, they have provided excellent care for my Mom and Dad. There are many factors to consider in selecting a rehabilitation or nursing center and Country gets high marks for their cleanliness, food, activities and personalized approach as well as the teamwork. The facility is in a very safe area which is in close proximity to the hospital. The ambiance is very professional and the surroundings are lovely. Anyone who has a family member that may need rehab or nursing support should visit with them so you can asses the personal interest of team members in those in their care.

We would like to to know this is one of the worst nursing homes in the country. Like many people, we found ourselves in a gap during the course of caring for our mother's progressive Alzheimer's disease. She then temporarily stayed in Country Manor Nursing Home in Newburyport, a completely degraded environment. We were desperate to get her out of there. I live in Canada, and my sisters both work fulltime jobs with their own families to take care of, so until we were all sad, furious, and ashamed. And our mother was just getting worse and worse in her reaction to an environment one could only label as completely dysfunctional, if not insane. She was ignored, left unclothed, not fed, and held captive in an environment of constant television noise and agitation. They would not change her underwear or bathe or. They were charging us $10,000 a month! Not surprisingly, she became increasingly agitated; to the extent of biting herself like a wounded animal seeking to break it’s bonds in order to be free of the pain. During the whole course of her illness she had never manifested aggression either to herself or anyone else. If anything she only seemed to become more relaxed and sweeter. My sister actually hired visiting angels to spend time with her at Country Manor when none of the family could be there so that we could be assured that she would be fed, and to some extent protected against the nightmarish environment.

I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out.

I wasn't too impressed with their office, I could tell they didn't take much pride in it's appearance. I was somewhat uneasy during my appointment. I was never able to fully relax. This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page. I do not agree with the way they do business here, it is always their way or the highway. They are so uncooperative if a customer complains and are never willing to admit if they are wrong.
