i just dont understand nor will i ever understand. i worked at this facility for almost a yr. and the administration part of the nursing home is really disappointing. when a nurse (LVN) 'vents' out on facebook about patients or staff and gets away with it...is beyond me. it does not matter that actual names were not used. its the principle in this whole situation.
i would hate for my mother to be a patient there and her unit nurse gets fustrated because her colostomy bag does not stay in tacked...and her nurse gets upset b/c she isnt able to "chart" or should i say "chat" on facebook while on the clock about unit managers, staff and patients??? yet im the one who gets a 'write up' for ...gossiping ?? agin, ill never understand...
i wonder how corp ppl would feel about this?...hm, i wonder if they are aware of aides drinking on the job while on break at taco cabana...having margaritas and beer with their chips and salsa and being cought by a unit mgr by the name of vern?? or the aides drinking while working on the floor and hidding the 'vodka' bottle in res rooms....hm a lot goes on in that nursing home that is kept hush hush...like that aide that dropped a res while transfering on a hoyer...EVERYBODY knows not to transfer a pt on a hoyer alone...sigh but thats what happens when ur on a 'high'... you think your superwoman...yeah my san antonio people...id think twice before putting a family member in alamo heights nursing and rehab....staff will give you a fake welcome and fake smile...and their bedside manners....really sux
