It took 4 times in 1 week for the office to get the Myelogram Orders for me to complete it. Then My testing was completed and reviewed by Dr. John Berry but no one follow up with his recommendation notes. When I tried to get the nurse to find out what I needed to do, she passed the buck to someone else.

The staff states they always overbooked and they wanted to schedule an appointment for Myleogram results from July 2015 in September 2015. They do not care what shape the patient is in nor do they care if forms are completed correctly. I've been off from work over a month with no end to my health issues. OMG!! My employer required FMLA forms were inaccurately and incompletely completed therefore my leave was denied. I was told Dr. Berry has more than me as a patient while I'm still in pain without an end. I've been seeing Dr. Berry over 3 month and him referring me to another neurosurgeon for second opinion. The second opinion scared me because he acted as if he couldn't diagnose the issue. Still in severe pain no one caring about the quality of life of patient.
Now I'm willing to start over with any associate he works with to get healthcare assistant. I would not advised anyone to use this doctor especially if you need to interact with staff. Every other month there are new employers so start over building a rapport with them.

Dr Berry is not up to date on Chiari Malformation! He let "his" radiologist diagnose me and they were both wrong! They need continuing education classes! CHIARI is no longer diagnosed by elongation of 5mm or MORE herniation of cerebellar tonsils. Read about Chiari ZERO! Dr Berry told me I JUST had a headache, "get over it!" Four months after seeing him I had EMERGENCY Chiari decompression brain surgery in New York by the surgeons at The Chiari Institute who said I would have died had I not come there because I was almost out of fluid around my brainstem!! I spent 1 month there. I should have had a CINE MRI to check the fluid and 3D MRI in Houston. The Houston Medical Center has nobody up to par with Chiari. Dr Berry also missed my thoracic Syringomyelia that was on the same scans I brought to him. I was in so much pain I could hardly walk and he had no compassion!

Dr. Berry's staff was awesome over the phone before I ever set an appointment. Dorree explained why I was having a hard time finding a Neurosurgeon that would accept my insurance and that Dr. Berry would be dropping the company too within a month. They still chose to see me.
At the office Dr. Berry and staff were great. He examined me, did some tests, then he asked me to come into his office. He sat me down on his side of the desk and reviewed my MRI results with me, explained the procedure, and scheduled my surgery date for 2 weeks later.
