She told me that my 2 week old newborn was massively obese at two weeks old. My baby weighed 8 pounds. We found another ped. immediately after that visit. Our new doctor could not believe it when I told him - told me that no newborn could EVER be considered obese. What a disgusting practice.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! Doctor is a bully, staff are drones that do absolutely nothing, getting an appointment is IMPOSSIBLE, because staff tells you - wait and see - every single time you call about a sick child. I found such a better doctor who sees my child the SAME day when she is sick and takes the time to diagnose PROPERLY.

Allegedly:this doctor is becoming more out of touch with her patients as she cuts her own working hours back, increasingly giving too much decision making responsibility to her staff.Resulting in what I feel is the staff giving inappropriate and often very bad advice as not all information that a parent gives on their child's health is always relayed to the doctor. They pick and choose what info they relay to her.She seems clueless that they do this and when it was brought to her attention she said parents who don't trust the way her office is run can go somewhere else. The staff is basically running the office and my kids were paying the price. Also dr. has become so conservative that the children often linger with illness for days or weeks before she will even consider using an antibiotic. By then the kids are so sick it takes twice as long to recover and usually by then they end up on an antibiotic anyway which because of the doctor waiting so long-they have to be on a longer, sometimes stronger antibiotic dose.Over use of antibiotics is bad but so is putting a young child's health at risk by under use of antibiotics which is equally bad.She is also quick to instruct her staff to have parents go to ER if she is not available as if going to the ER should be routinely used for sick visits instead of the true emergencies that they are meant for. After many years I am leaving this doctor after feeling she has lost touch with what it means to run her own office and to be truly available for her young patients and forget about her ever coming to the hospital to check in on your child. Not only does she not do that but in the past ,she would not even take a hospital doctors call if it was not during business hours ,that is when she is even in her office and if she is on call.Personally feel that once she had her own kids that she realized she wanted to be more of a stay at home mom and can't seem to balance both a career and motherhood.Too bad as she used to be a good doctor.I would never recommend this doctor unless you are comfortable with her staff deciding you childs health care and you are willing to take many days off of work while you watch your child suffer and miss school needlessly.
