It will be 3 months on Thursday since I went and had two of my molars pulled. I've been in more pain the last three months than I was prior to having these two teeth pulled. I've always had exceptional teeth, little to no cavities, straight teeth, fairly white considering I smoked for a huge part of my life. Now as most mothers know we tend to let ourselves go and not get ourselves into the dentist/dr when we should a lot of the times. This was the absolute WORST experience I've ever had at the dentist. He yelled at me, shamed me for not coming into the dentist sooner, yanked my jaw open knowing I was already in an extreme amount of pain, didn't care that I could still feel half of what he was doing, told me he hoped I learned my lesson and I start taking better care of my teeth. I am STILL pulling bone/jaw/tooth out of my mouth. I REFUSE to go back to him and I will suffer through the pain until I am able to get into see someone else in TWO MONTHS. READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU SEE THE DENTIST, don't be stupid and ignore the bad reviews like I did! Especially if they take state insurance. DO NOT EVER GO TO THE DENTIST ON 84TH AND LINCOLN! THIS MAN SHOULD NOT HAVE A LICENSE TO PRACTICE DENTISTRY

Took my stepdaughter in to get tooth pulled. Was told by the hygienist they would get her prepped and then come and get me before they started the procedure. After 10-15 minutes I went to the front desk and asked if the doctor was running behind and if I could go wait with her so she wasn't by herself. The front desk staff went back and who I presume was the office manager came out and said the procedure has already started. I said she is 7! Why didn't someone come and get me? She was very flippant and said it was their policy. I asked why wasn't I informed, there wasn't a sign nor was it in the new patient paperwork. She said the receptionists try their best to tell new patients before they come but I was missed and since I felt bad about not being back there she was going to stop the procedure. I told her that I didn't want the procedure stopped but wanted to be allowed back there. She said it is was it is, the procedure is being stopped. I told her that her attitude was S-----. The dentist came out and said basically the same thing and I would need to find a new provider and he wasn't going to put the space maintainer she needed in. I again asked where this policy was because if I would have known, I would have found another dentist. I don't know what parent would be comfortable not being with their child, at a new dentist, getting a tooth pulled or the child for that matter. She was scared.

He very well may be a competent dentist but his attitude and the attitude of his office manager was very rude. All because I asked a question, he didn't finish the dental procedure. Shame.

This guy was rude/ mean/ unprofessional! Get away as soon as you can if your able! Sorry if you can't. The staff was nice, although hearing their weekend exploits seem to offend the elderly patients waiting, I found them amusing and entertaining. I hope I come across other sites/ blogs / or informative reviews to further warn others about this dentist. He's very condescending and DID NOT....I repeat...... DID NOT scrub before my examination in what took a total of 30-50 seconds. RUN if you can from this guy.

.I was so upset after leaving my appointment that I tried my hardest to hold back tears until I got out the door, then cried the entire way home.

Dr. Presswala is an arrogant, uncaring individual.

I have worked in law enforcement my entire life and have always had amazing insurance. When I lost my job, I was forced to take State insurance and my options for care were limited. What saddens me is that the patients he sees are State insured and many have never seen another provider, so they don't know that they don't have to be treated like dirt. I have always had superior dental work, so being treated the way he treated me was especially hurtful.

He laughed at my questions and interrupted me, speaking down to me and calling me "Sweetie" with a smartass grin. When I asked about other options because he was quick to refer me to have an extraction, he said, "Sweetie, if you wanted options you should have thought of that a long time ago. You don't get options."

When I mentioned I would like to look into porcelain crowns, he said, "State aid won't get you those. People like you don't get those." He assumed that because I'm on State insurance I don't have money. That's not the case at all. I have money, I just don't have insurance right now.

When I asked whether I had any cavities, he chuckled at me and said, "Cavities are the least of your concern. Yes, you have one tiny cavity that I wouldn't even flinch at. You're being ridiculous to even worry about something like that at this point."

When I asked him if I could get a crown instead of an extraction, he said, "Did you go to dental school? This is what I do for a living. I'd expect you'd think I know what I'm talking about."

Every single question was answered with a snarky response. He was in a rush to refer me to an oral surgeon and did nothing to address the issue I came in with. He only wanted to berate me and make me feel horrible.

On the other hand, the hygienist was amazing. She was sweet and friendly, and explained everything she was doing. She gave great advice and made sure I understood everything she was talking about. It's a shame she has to work for that jerk.

If you have to be on State insurance, please choose another dentist. Don't let this one leave you with a bad impression of dentists. They aren't all so cruel and degrading. My two best friends are retired dentists, and I think they nailed it... They said, "He is probably a young dentist who can't open a practice yet, so he takes State aid patients just to be able to practice. He's grumpy about it because he isn't making any money and isn't able to do all he is trained to do." They were exactly right. And what he fails to realize is that some of us have careers that provide us with excellent insurance and significant income - we've just hit a bump in the road. In a very short time, my insurance will kick back in and you can be damned sure that the $10k I'm spending on crowns will NOT be in his pocket.
