Not only was I able to watch TV during my dental procedure, they had a ton of magazines for me to look through as well. I barely even noticed that my dental procedure was going on because I was fully entertained the entire time. Their equipment was very advanced and sophisticated. I was very impressed. My teeth cleanings have always been very comfortable, and I've never experienced any pain. They always go above and beyond to make sure I'm relaxed. They examined my teeth very thoroughly to make sure they didn't miss anything. It was nice to know when I left that everything had been taken care of. It was nice of them to offer some sample toothbrushes and toothpaste for me to take home. I was able to figure out which toothpaste I liked without having to buy anything.

My wife went to The Dentist of Newtown for a tooth ache. It turned out she needed a root canal and a filling. We called the insurance company to verify the available insurance amount left and asked the dentist for the final cost. Things were good. After the procedure, the cost changed, which put us over the limit by a substantial amount for dental coverage. Rathe than the $300 out of pocket for the root canal, we ended up paying over $600 out of pocket. Ok, everybody makes mistakes, maybe it was originally written up wrong. I asked them if I could make payments on the balance and they said yes. 2 days later they called my wife and canceled her appointment for the filling. They said they will nto close up the root canal until the balance was paid off. This caused my wife quite a bit of pain. Food would get stuck in the opening, which caused an infection. This is bad business, and obviously they are not looking for repeat customers. What kind of dentist leaves a hole in a persons tooth? A better solution woul dhave been to finish the job and then say you cannot do any further dental work until the balance is paid. I will NEVER go back to them, and I will make sure to spread the word about how they conduct their business.
