They did a lot of root canals on my 10 year old son that he did not need. The dentist yelled at him the whole time because it hurt him. Please do not take your children here. They will never want to go to a dentist again. I didn't want to give any stars at all, but you don't have a choice!!

Virginia you are so right Dr. Poppa should not be a pediatric dentist. My 8 year old daughter started to cry because Dr. Poppa scared her with her demeanor and she told her to stop crying and she would not let me comfort her! That is not a pediatric dentist they don't yell at kids! They just called me yesterday to get my new insurance information and she didn't even have an appointment and they knew how upset I was when I walked out the door and I said she is not going their any more she is going to another dentist the office girl didn't know want to say. She finally said come pick up the records and I said no email me the release form and you can send them directly to her new dentist, she actually didn't know what I was speaking about because their first language is Spanish so I had to explain to her and she finally understood! I would never send my daughter their again that would be child abuse in my eyes!!!!

Horrible place! Don't go! Dentist is a horrible mean woman who does not like kids. Took my 2.5 year old son there because he chipped his front tooth. He was crying and she said you need to make him stop, He should not be crying. Wait time was 4 hours. 2 before seeing her, 1 because she didn't like him crying and 1 after the xray. Please don't take you children there. My son is now afraid of dentist and doctors because of her. He has always loved going before he saw the crazy woman. I feel awful because i let this happen to him

After reading the reviews I've got to chime in... I've brought both of my kids to see these folks over the past three years -specifically because they offer other options besides general anesthetic invasive procedures. We didn't want either of our kids being put under at the hospital and most of the other dentists around town wouldn't touch our kids. Now we still take them for dental work as needed and pay out of pocket. I understand they are a pediatrics-based practice and there are few others in area - so they draw an interesting base -many of which are helped by the state, and apparently don't appreciate the awesome job they do...
