I'm busy and they run on time. It's the same doctor each time and he's there full time. It's the same staff, so, I know who I'm talking to and everything money-wise is layed out up front. My children's teeth look great.

I was browsing the web, seeing for myself the impact of social media. I clicked on Dr Gittess' office because I had 2 kids go through treatment there and I knew what a great experience and outcome they had.
Wow, I was shocked at the venom of some of the reviews. If they are real people, they must have been real pills. But, they're probably not real people, as my research has been revealing.
I work at Siemens and was referred to Dr Gittess by at least a dozen of my coworkers. Meeting up with a coworker now in Charlotte, he told me Dr Gittess even gave him a generous partial refund when he was relocated. Who does that?
My family is 100% pro Dr Gittess.

I am so frustrated, i feel like i have been robbed! braces are so expensive!He was very rude to me and my mom! He just wants the money, now my teeth are crooked ! and he wants me to get braces again, please never again, im done with gittess.

Their staff is very friendly and professional. The office was easy enough to find. However, Dr. was nice the day of the consult, but as soon as my credit card was swiped, he became a nightmare to talk to. He was very rude and I would never recommend him to anyone. Not even my worst enemy! I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed in him and him alone.

After 3 consults, we picked Dr. Gittess, our second consult. That was 4 weeks ago and everything they told us is happening as they said it would. We're very happy. The first doctor we went to had prices through the roof. Even with insurance, monthlys were over $300. The third doctor was slick. He was the best in the world. He was...well, not always there. Anyway, moms, for a guy you can talk to and trust, we recommend Dr.Gittess.

The staff at Gittes Orthodontist is great. Very friendly, sweet ladies, constantly courteous and affording to the clients. Dr.Gittes, however is not as pleasant. To put it lightly. He comes off over confidant, and just well ...rude. He is in the line of duty where he is working with kids, but you get the feeling he doesn't like children. He may be more suited for adults only. He will roll his eyes, walk out without warning, and is slightly condescending. My daughter loathed her visits and she was always uncomfortable with him. Again, the staff softens the blow as they are delightful and always had fun games, contests, and ongoing things for the kids, that part I loved. Dr. Gittes, well, he can straighten teeth, now if he could only straighten his personality this would be the ideal place. I am taking my next 3 kids elsewhere.

Although I am pleased with my child's results from Dr. Gittes, I wish I had gone to a different orthodontist for my child's care. His web site recommends early care, but he seems to have little tolerance for young children. His manner was intimidating and cold from the very beginning, but I thought that would "scare" my child into following good orthodontic care. I quickly realized a warm, friendly manner would have been just as effective and definitely preferable. Many friends and acquaintances expressed the same feelings about him, but they were insightful enough to have chosen a different orthodontist for treatment. I cannot recommend Dr. Gittes for children.
