They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff is very friendly and professional in person, but on the phone they sound like they're speaking in a rude tone. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.
Dr. Gutierrez was the only doctor I've ever had an awkward experience with. While he was waiting for the female assistance to return to the room with some supplies, he took his seat at the foot of the table I was laying on with my legs already up in the holsters and moved the paper over my legs back. The doctor stayed sitting there while talking to me, meanwhile I can't see his face and he was just sitting there facing toward me! I should have said something immediately in regards to please move out from that end of the table while waiting on the assistant. Very uncomfortable. He also had an insensitive nature about him, like he was in a rush each time I had an appointment.
They couldn't really answer all of my questions. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. For instance, I was never told that the birth control prescribed might leave me with NO period at all and irregular bleeding at the most!!! I left feeling very confused and frustrated. When I called to complain about the birth control because it was causing terrible mood swings and acne, I have gotten no help at all, not to mention the doctor's short time with patients during each exam (less than ten minutes which is ridiculous considering the long wait time). I was disappointed that their staff didn't seem to respect them very much. The doctor even yelled at a nurse about how a cord was bothering him (it was touching his leg) WHILE he was performing my examination. They staff wasn't disrespectful but I could tell they didn't have a very good relationship. If only I could give ZERO stars.
Not only did they not welcome my questions, they just dismissed them as unimportant. I felt like they didn't really care about helping me. They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. They didn't seem to know much about my medical history or pre-existing conditions. I had to explain everything, which was very inconvenient.
