I've been going to Dr. Johnson for years. He's tremendous. He treats me with respect - listens to my concerns but also listens to my own suggestions. He doesn't TELL me what to do - he gives me all the information I need and DISCUSSES treatment with me. Wonderful! A doctor who thinks I have a brain...smile. Not too many of those. He's really wonderful!

While Johnny Johnson is a great doctor, his staff is not. Especially the front of the office. His receptionist Jenicia (Genicia sp?) is the rudest, most disrespectful person to deal with, which is why I am leaving. The office is so unorganized, when I call to schedule a follow-up appointment, they have to ask me what the appointment is for - shouldn't this be in my medical records? I called 4 times in 2 days to get a birth control prescription written and every person I spoke to had no clue what was going on! Questions of what kind I was on, my name (after I had already told them at the beginning of the conversation). They asked for the pharmacy number 3 times. I have called since Tuesday to request a copy of my medical records, Genicia said she would fax me the release form and I would have to pay $25...3 days later and she has YET to send me the fax. I had to call back to ask what the delay was and she said my fax number was "undeliverable". Why wouldn't a medical professional call the patient to tell them that? Instead I am the one who has followed up 5 times now. I finally asked her to save a copy of the fax receipts with the delivery message because I did not believe she actually sent them. My fax machine is working just fine. Her response - she "shredded them". Why? It contains no personal information. She is lying. You go out of your way to shred a fax receipt but not call the patient back to tell them there is an issue? It is Thursday and I still haven't received them. I called a few minutes ago, as I did 6 hours ago to have her re-fax them and she hasn't. "We have patients and I can probably submit them at 4pm when we close." What kind of office is this? Any professional setting people have to multitask and in this office there is clearly NONE. This employee is a waste of time and I am happy to take my insurance elsewhere. This is ridiculous.

I have known Dr. Johnson as a patient and professionally for 30+ years. He is my favorite doctor. Kind, considerate and smart. The office staff is very stable group and have worked with him for an extended time. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They seemed really knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions in-depth. I understood all my options fully and they really took the time to make sure my questions were answered. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else.

Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. I was really impressed with how advanced and sophisticated their equipment was. Everything was so new and well taken care of it practically sparkled. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional.

I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. They knocked before entering the exam room, and even waited for me to reply that I was ready before entering. They really respected my privacy. They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation.
