I am so impressed with Dr. Bernstein and his staff. I was treated by Dr. Bernstein for a broken bone in my hand. Throughout the office visits, he was knowledgeable, professional and open to my questions. His explanations were easy to understand and comprehensive. Thank you for taking such good care of my hand. I would recommend Dr. Bernstein in an instant!

I broke my hand playing tennis and visited Dr. Bernstein at Connecticut Orthopaedics the same day I was told my hand was broken by my general physician. He saw me right away and was very easy to talk to and explained where I had broken my hand while showing me the X-ray. He then wrapped my hand in a cast and scheduled returning visits for me. I loved that he didn’t recommend surgery right away. He gave me a referral for physical therapy and I checked in with him every 4 weeks or so. The staff is wonderful and I never waited more than a few minutes to be seen. I highly recommend this practice .

Dr. Bernstein is an amazing surgeon and a caring, personable individual. He diagnosed and performed carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand several years ago with perfect results. He recently did the same surgery on my left hand. It has been 5 months post-op and my hand is symptom free with barely a visible scar! I couldn't recommend Dr. Bernstein and his staff more highly

I saw Dr. Bernstein for 2 issues. First an arthritic thumb which required surgery. He took the time to evaluate everything, explained my options. Was attentive and thorough. Did the surgery and all the follow ups. Was a great experience overall (if you consider needing surgery a great experience). Also saw him for a sore shoulder. That one only needed physical therapy and some medication. Very pleased with both outcomes

Dr. Richard Bernstein is an extremely skilled surgeon. He has operated on both hands for carpal tunnel and treated trigger finger on both hands. Dr. Bernstein calls the day after surgery to check up on you (a time consuming but thoughtful thing to do). He is very caring and an excellent diagnostician. His staff is patient, efficient, and skilled. I have recommended him to many people.

I was lucky enough to have Dr Bernstein perform surgery on my Scaphoid fracture in Jan ‘18. I received excellent care and I was back to work at the hospital with no limitations! Highly recommend Dr Bernstein if you’re in need of a surgeon he is an expert in the UE!!

Dr Bernstein fixed my broken wrist. I was afraid about surgery but hee gave me great information about the alternatives. His surgery for me back to functioning so quickly I am very grateful. Would highly recommend him

Dr. Bernstein is very knowledgeable and up-to-date on all the latest procedures he took care of my carpal tunnel in both hands with an excellent outcome , no more numbness or pain. I highly recommend him.
