I went to see Dr. Geraci after seeing several doctors who did not take my complaints of the pain I have been describing for several years serious. I was prescribed drugs and given prescriptions for a multitude of test to take and other doctors to see and no one would even listen to my story. I never took the medication, nor did I have any of the tests performed. I did consult with one of the doctor's who did not have time for me after taking my $50 co-pay. I could not wait ro get out of there. I did my own research and found the Northwell Health Neuromuscular Medicine Neuroscience Institute in Great Neck NY and made an appointment. My first encounter with Dr. Geraci made me know that there was hope for me. He listened to me, examined me, explained to me his findings and provided me with the medication and tools that I needed to get my LIFE back on track. He gave me hope for a pain free future. The overall visit made me feel a sense of relief and I knew I was on the road to recovery. I followed his instructions, picked up my prescriptions and had one of the BEST nights sleep I have had in close to 3 years. I took my next dose the next morning with breakfast, as instructed and although I felt a tad bit woozy I felt wonderful. I was able to go out again, for the first time in years to run my errands and did not feel angry because of the pain I have endored for so long. Instead I had one of the BEST DAYS OF THE REST OF MY LIFE.. Thank you Dr. Geraci.

I waited a little while to see the doctor. Dr. Geraci was hands-on immediately. He also took the time to talk with me indepth and took in-office tests to help pinpoint my lower back/leg nerve problem. He was patient, and unlike my my last neurologist, spent a good hour speaking with me about options, allaying any fears I had, and generally caring. His follow-up visit after the MRI was a little rushed but overall I plan to go back.

I was receommended to Dr. Geraci by a Naturopath. I am an MS patient who has been treating myself naturally with diet and supplements. I was looking for a neurologist who would understand these choices and be willing to help me manage my symptoms. Dr. Geraci spent an hour and a half with me which is completely unheard of for a nuerologist. He made me feel heard which is more than I can say for any other neurologist I have met. I have met 4 others who were true specialists. Dr. Geraci answered my questions, neurologically based and medically based in general and agreed that I am on the right path. His staff is friendly and welcoming. I feel much more confident and hopeful about the future. I look forward to seeing Dr. Geraci again and again. What a great doctor!
