BEWARE: THIS OFFICE AND IT'S STAFF ARE DESPICABLE.


On November 18th of 2011 my wife, who suffers from severe allergies heard wonderful things about Immunotherapy. She made an appoint and on this day the staff at Vital Life Wellness Center, headed by Dr. Bernice Gonzalez gave her an allergy test to begin the therapy.

On this day, she also received a signed document stating in writing that the Immunotherapy was 100% covered by our insurance, after the $25 copay for each monthly visit. This was verified by an agent from our insurance company.

Since that dreadful day, we have been hit with multiple outrageous bills, have had to fight tooth and nail with this office and their incompetent staff, and are now being threatened to be sent to collection for bills that were promised from the start, be to covered by our insurance.

Some visits my wife would pay her normal $25 office visit. Some days they would tell her no need to pay, when she questioned why this was they simply said "We always do it this way." Which is obviously not the case, because it was done differently EVERY SINGLE VISIT.

This should have set of Red Flags as to how poorly managed this place is.

The first time we were sent a wrongful bill (and each time since) when questioning the staff as to why we were receiving a bill at all, they would simply say " Oh, we'll look into it." But they never did obviously, and we would also received second, and third notices of late bill payment.

This eventually stressed my wife out so much that she allowed them to pressure her into paying a $500+ bill in office before they would let her in the door to pick up her next month's set of serum.

After calling and speaking to the insurance claims adjuster for this branch (Brianna) she assured me that there was a mistake, and that she would resubmit the claims to our insurance and would contact me back in 1 week.

Two weeks later I receive a letter telling me to pay up right now or be sent to collections within 10 days of the printed letter date. The letter I received today, which is dated the 2nd, which leaves me a single day to try and sort this out before they attempt to ruin my credit!

Every single interaction with this office and it's staff has been horrible, unprofessional, frustrating, and mind-numbing.

If you're considering getting anything done, go else-where.
I would trust a bag boy at the HEB to do a more competent job of administration these tasks than I would Vital Life Wellness Center.

Very! I've never seen an employer treat their staff better

Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!

I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged.
