I love seeing Dr. Nahrain Al-Zubaidi! She has been the MOST informative, caring, down to earth, knowledgeable Doctor I've ever seen for treatment of my diabetes, weight and ultimately infertility issues. She has a plan, and effectively includes me and my thoughts in that plan, and instructs me how to implement it into my every day life. I have to say, the things we've discussed and the instructions she has given have worked! I would recommend her to anyone having any issues with the above mentioned ailments. Honestly, I have had to wait on occasion because they run over but since I've been seeing her I am well aware that she actually takes the time to talk WITH you and discuss your issues/concerns ... and she doesn't talk AT you at all ... that takes time and I understand completely why her appointments run over. For me, that's not an issue like it may be for other people, because I leave work for the remainder of the day just in case there is a delay. The office staff also calls me the morning of the appointment to let me know IF there is a delay and occasionally has me come in a little later to avoid ME having to wait. I love it there!

I work in healthcare and it is interesting to experience what it is like on the other side of the stethoscope. Dr. Al-Zubaidi is an example of what a physician should be–a balance of the science of medicine and human compassion. Yes, she has a few problems with the business of medicine. However, the quality of healthcare delivery is excellent and that is the true measure any physician.

I agree with the others who have discussed the fact that the appointments are never on time. The also change your appointment time the day of - both of my visits were changed and messages were left on my home phone (I work for a living) and I didn't get either message until I was on my way to the appointment and checked the home voicemail. I also have tried for 2.5 months to get my blood results sent to my primary care doctor and it is like pulling teeth. I sent 4 emails and left 2 voicemails. I called again today and finally got through and hopefully my primary care will get the results this week. The doctor is fantastic - it is some of the staff that truly gives this doctors office a bad name.

DO NOT see this DR. unless you have lots of time to waste. If you have a life, keep it and don’t bother spending your waiting hours to see this Doctor. I've tried being a loyal patient because Dr. Alzubaidi is actually very SWEET and she is intelligent and knows her stuff.... HOWEVER... They purposely double book the Doctor and appointments are always delayed by NO LESS THAN 1 TO 2 HOURS... you heard me right!. It is almost impossible to get an apt to see her, even for a quick follow-up!! Esp. it's urgent and when you do get that appointment, the time is NEVER HONORED. FURTHER MORE, if her staff is annoyed, they will LITERALLY just hang up the phone in your face. There is a woman with a thick accent who works the desk and a young lady with a young voice... BOTH VERY UNHELPFUL... they give you attitude and are rude if you don't just do as they say or can't make the ONE appointment they so graciously offer you.
AGAIN.. because of the dynamics and the management of Dr. Alzubaidi's office, it makes it frustrating to see this Doctor. Please Dr. Alzubaidi change the way you do things at your practice. Your complicity in allowing your staff to behave this way and the time management issue is hurting you and such a shame for a good DOCTOR like yourself!
